One-of-a-Kind Things We’ve Seen at SKYBOX Events

SKYBOX has hosted a wide variety of events. From weddings, corporate events, proposals, fundraisers, workout classes and private parties, SKYBOX has seen it all. Our venue allows the host to decorate and personalize the space to their liking, and with each new event comes fresh design choices, creative vendors, and fun activities.

Here are some of the most unique and fun things we’ve seen at SKYBOX.

UT vs. Alabama Watch Party

One of the most highly anticipated football games of the year – UT vs Alabama – is a game no Texan likes to miss. At this watch party, the SKYBOX space was decked out in burnt orange and white to cheer on the Longhorns. With a special streamer installation provided by Pop and Drop, furniture provided by Party at the Moontower and a big screen LED provided by Austin Event Lighting the space was transformed into the perfect party for UT fans.

Pat & Stace

At the remarkably glamorous wedding of Pat & Stace, a balloon installation covered the entire dance floor. Created by the Balloon Collective, this installation was a unique way to spice up the venue while guests danced the night away under the “clouds.” 

Dreamcon

Dreamcon, a 3-day anime and gaming convention, hosted their official VIP after-party at SKYBOX. As people came together to share their appreciation of comics, gaming & art, people got the opportunity to get their pictures taken by Booth Easy’s 360 photo booth. These photo booths capture pictures by circling the subject to obtain a 360 perspective of each pose. With downtown views only SKYBOX can offer, it’s the perfect backdrop for this interactive experience!

Caroline & Sky

For the wedding of Caroline and Sky, they had their name in lights. Provided by Alpha Lit, the big, light up letters added a romantic and elegant ambiance to the reception space. It was the perfect complement to the dance floor and offered unique lighting for pictures.
